On 7th and 8th October 2016, the German-Italian Association of Lawyers held a conference at the European Patent Office in Munich.
Items on the agenda included expert presentations and discussions on the topic of “Uniform Patent Protection in the EU”. Such protection would mean that companies don’t have to apply for a patent for their invention in each individual member state. Instead, they merely file an application with the European Patent Office with uniform effect. This would make the process is more efficient and economical for companies.
Among others, there were guest presentations given on this interesting topic by professors from Rome, Trieste, Milano and Verona.
Dolmetscherzentrale-ÜZM provided two simultaneous interpreters for the Italian language who enabled easy communication on a challenging and very specific topic.
